It’s good to be back. Let me get right into what The Lord has shown me this week. I have had a lot of confirmations on this as well as first-hand experience. God has greatly used me to quite a degree over the last decade (miraculously and mercifully) just now I am starting to see a full circle on why all the challenges and struggles were part of the picture.
Our Father is a kind, gentle and loving parent. Seeking to establish trust. Not because He is untrustworthy but because we are so obstinant, self-willed and stubborn. It takes time, effort and training to teach us how to surrender, to yield and to follow through. We are so used to jumping ahead, getting nervous, anxious and then throwing a fit as we discover the tangled mess we just made worse by thrashing about.
Systematically, God can and will lead us through puddles, then streams, then rivers onto raging waters. The obstacles and currents of life are there, no denying. If they are part of the equation and sort of inevitable (which they surely are) is it not beneficial to have a guide, a help and a lifeline to fall upon, call upon and turn to?! Yeah, it is, IT IS essential!
Many have no knowledge, remaining in ignorance to the blanket of provision and allowance God has afforded them. The word says that God sends the rain and the sun on the just and unjust alike. Regardless of their deservedness. This will not always be the case. Sadly, there are many that believe that all they have and all they have accomplished is by their own effort. Never realizing that every facet and every element of this life is provided, on loan, a gift.
To God be the Glory, to God be the Praise! Every breath, blink, thought, action, and deed made only possible by His very grace.
Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, under the Blood covenant protection of the Lamb, we ask for Holy Spirit discernment over Your word. Help us to hear only Your voice, give us the right heart to desire Your will and cleanse our minds to employ right thinking.
“Yield now and be at peace with Him; Thereby good will come to you.
1 Peter 5:6
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,
“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. ‘Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing;
for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his
natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does.
